Responsibilities Peraton is looking for an Undersea Warfare Computer Systame Analyst to join our team in Newport, RI. The ideal candidate shall perform analysis of undersea warfare range system requirements, Inputs/Outputs, development approaches, and user interface designs. The candidate shall also perform feasibility studies of designs and analyses of alternatives. This is an opportunity to support state-of-the-art testing and simuation systems that support vital warfighter training and testing.

This position can be performed remotely but will need to be local to the work location. This position is contingent upon contract award.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and modify requirements and designs for US Navy undersea ranges
  • Support Test and Evaluation operations for the ranges during exercises and installations
  • Perform feasibility, tradeoff, and analysis of alternatives for US Navy undersea range software systems related to hardware, operating systems, development languages, etc.
  • Verification testing support for new and/or upgraded computer based systems
  • Support Information Assurance efforts for the computer based range systems

Qualifications
  • Requires 0 to 2 years with BS/BA or 6 to 8 years no degree.
  • HS Degree and 6 years experience or BS and 18 months system analysis experience
  • Demonstrated experience performing analysis on large scale networked systems
  • Knowledge of operating systems Windows, UNIX, Linux
  • Experience performing tradeoff analyses of hardware, operating systems, and development languagues
  • Must have Information Assurance Technical Level I certification
  • An active Secret clearance
