Retail Merchandiser: Powersports Brand - Freelance PT Flex Schedule

Job Type: Freelance part-time position (qualified candidates will be submitted for freelance hire by our client)
Schedule: Retail Merchandisers set their OWN work days and times (during open hours of retail store Monday through Friday with a 4-hour shift minimum)
Location: Select stores in one of the markets listed. Significant travel primarily throughout the assigned location with occasional travel to other areas in state may be required. (75-80% of stores are within an hour of primary assigned location)
Location: Market assignments will either be in Eastern PA OR Western PA. Candidate is considered for stores in their most local area/s.
Pay Rate: $25.00+ Per Hour
Travel Compensation
· Mileage reimbursement for 50 miles or more from home
· Hotel accommodations when traveling a significant distance
· Per diem provided when traveling a significant distance home (during hotel stays)
Prior merchandising experience is not required, but the ability to follow extensive directions for inventory, restocking, and documentation is essential. Sales/retail experience is a plus.
Overview
ATN Event Staffing is seeking Retail Merchandisers for a leading power sports brand featured at select local sporting goods stores. The Retail Merchandiser will be responsible for documenting, merchandising, and organizing client products within the retail stores serviced.
Must be detailed, and exhibit good communication. Ability to complete tasks in a timely fashion, work solo, organized and task oriented. This is a great entry-level position for those seeking to break into merchandising or those with experience seeking a flexible schedule.
Responsibilities
Use interactive merchandising recap tool to:
- Learn more about the projects and brands
- Schedule store visits
- Download and/or print merchandising directives for store visits
- Submit an online report based on the store visit to include uploading high-quality photos within the report
While in store
- Merchandise and organize product
- Develop a partnership with the store management and associates during visits
- Relay actionable insights that will assist brands with improving the customer’s retail experience
- Effectively merchandise product within the store to display a positive impact between the before and after photos
- Interpret and implement planograms
- Take before and after photos of store merchandise displays using smartphone to complete report
What we need from you
- Retail or merchandising experience preferred (not required)
- A dependable car, valid license and the ability to travel to assigned stores (within your area. No long-distance travel needed)
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs and a basic knowledge of tools
- Attention to detail and highly observant of the store environment
- Superior communication and organizational skills
- The ability to work independently and manage time effectively with minimal supervision to achieve goals and objectives
- A reliable smart-phone and high-speed internet
- Email access in order to communicate remotely with the Operations Team
- Familiarity with or an interest in powersports products and accompanying accessories a plus
