Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Commercial Interior Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for painting and finishing interior surfaces of commercial buildings, ensuring high-quality work that meets client specifications and industry standards. The position requires attention to detail, excellent craftsmanship, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and clean surfaces by sanding, scraping, and priming.

Apply paint, stain, and other finishes to walls, ceilings, trim, and other interior surfaces in commercial properties.

Mix and match paints, stains, and finishes to achieve the desired color and texture.

Ensure smooth, even application of coatings, using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment.

Perform touch-ups and make necessary repairs to surfaces before finishing.

Follow all safety guidelines and protocols when handling paints, chemicals, and tools.

Maintain an organized, clean, and safe work area.

Communicate effectively with clients, supervisors, and team members to ensure satisfaction with the work performed.

Inspect completed work to ensure it meets quality standards and client expectations.

Assist with the setup and cleanup of job sites, including moving furniture or other items as needed.

Adhere to all company policies and procedures for work ethics, punctuality, and performance.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a commercial interior painter or in a related field (minimum of [X] years preferred).

Knowledge of various painting techniques, surface preparation, and coatings.

Ability to operate and maintain painting equipment, such as spray guns and brushes.

Familiarity with safety standards and OSHA guidelines for working with chemicals and tools.

Ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Reliable and punctual with strong work ethic.

Excellent time-management skills and ability to meet project deadlines.

Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and reach for extended periods.
