Food Station 'Cook'

We're The f'kn Allegheny Wine Mixer & we're in need of a cheese lovin' food enthusiast to join our team. If you're unfamiliar with us, we're a small neighborhood wine bar in Upper Lawrenceville that's been around for a little over 10 years. We specialize in fun & interesting wines but also have a great beer & cocktail selection. In addition, we offer a small, but well-crafted food menu that compliments not only the wine but our quirky atmosphere. We're a small crew who loves where we work and what we do and we're looking for someone with the same energy and enthusiasm.

This position entails working 4 days a week (two weekdays & two weekends, roughly 40 hrs) with the potential to gain more hours. SUNDAY IS A MUST. Our prep kitchen is in the basement but this food station is at the end of the bar, so it is an 'open kitchen'. This means that you will spend chunks of your time around people. You will be responsible for station prep, getting your station set up for service, cleanliness maintenance, breaking down station at end of night, maintaining pars & stock, as well as washing dishes on your weekday shifts. You will also be responsible for making staff meal on Sunday for 3-4 people.

Experience is required.
