DESCRIPTION OF WORK

The Registered Nurse Supervisors at the Southwestern Veterans Center play a crucial role in overseeing the comprehensive care of residents and managing nursing services within designated areas during their assigned shifts, all while ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations. Full-time employment, 40-hours per week

Work hours are 10:00 PM to 6:30 AM, with a 30- minute lunch. (3rd Shift)

Schedule includes weekends and holidays. Work schedule may change based on operational need.Salary:In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITYQUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

Three years as a Registered Nurse (commonwealth title); or

Four years of professional nursing experience providing care and treatment services consistent with those needed for individuals with a mental or physical injury or illness and/or a developmental disability.Special Requirements:

This position requires active authorization to practice as a Registered Nurse in Pennsylvania.

If you possess an active temporary practice permit, you must obtain licensure as a Registered Nurse within the one (1) year period defined by the Pennsylvania State Board of Nursing.Other Requirements:

PA residency requirementis currently waived for this title.You must be able to perform essential job functions.Legal Requirements:

A conditional offer of employment will require a medical examination.

This position falls under the provisions of the Older Adult Protective Services Act.

Under the Act, a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports, including but not limited to, PA State Police and FBI clearance.How to Apply:
