Project Manager Global Operations & ServicesThe University Center for International Studies UCIS at the University of Pittsburgh stands as a dynamic hub for fostering global engagement and cross-cultural understanding. We are dedicated to convening bright minds to tackle pressing global issues through collaborative research, policy-making, and educational initiatives. The UCIS Global Partnerships team is seeking a Project Manager for Global Operations and Services. The incumbent will oversee the planning, design, and execution of routine projects, coordinating with stakeholders to define project scope, goals, and deliverables. Your expertise will be crucial in timeline development, budget management, and ensuring project success.This position works on a hybrid schedule with 3 days in-office and 2 days remote per week.Job SummaryOversees all aspects of planning, design, and execution of assigned small, routine projects and coordinates with project stakeholders to define project scope, goals, and deliverables. Assists in timeline development, ensures adherence to timeframes, and adjusts project deliverables to avoid issues. Performs budgetary functions and administrative tasks. Assists with external consultant and vendor selection, negotiation, and management.Essential Functions

Oversees all aspects of planning, design, and execution of assigned small, routine projects. Coordinates with project stakeholders to define project scope, goals, and deliverables.

Assists in developing a timeline and ensures adherence to all deadlines. Anticipates potential problems and adjusts project deliverables as needed.

Drafts and manages the program budget, ensures timely submission of vendor payment requests, and manages expense reimbursements.

Tracks project progress and maintains accurate records and files; provides detailed reports to senior management.

Assists with selection, negotiation, and management of activities regarding external consults or vendors.

Conducts other administrative tasks, leads meetings, and drafts communications. Physical EffortLittle physical effort required. Duties are primarily sedentary.
