Surveyors measure and map the earth and property boundaries for the design and development of transportation, real estate, energy, and infrastructure. We also provide location of the designed improvements for construction and produce survey plots for conveyance of property for real estate transactions. Surveying is a respected and progressive profession looking for vibrant new talent.

As a Survey Technician Intern, you will:

Assist experienced survey field staff performing work on topographic and boundary surveys, route surveys, stream surveys, and construction stakeouts.

Gain exposure to progressive technology including robotic total stations, GPS, UAS (drone), and LiDAR scanning.

Learn to collect survey data and search for boundary evidence while working in a variety of terrain and outdoor conditions.

Perform physical tasks such as setting stakes and monuments, clearing brush, and ladened hiking.

Utilize surveying software applications to gather, retrieve and interpret important data, and perform fundamental survey computations.Qualifications0-2 years related survey experience.

Enrolled in an Associates or Bachelors in Survey program, or related field of study preferred.

Possession of sufficient physical stamina to work outdoors under various field conditions.

Occasional travel may be required.
