SCHEDULE:Varies based on program needs and your own willingness to pick up shifts. All casual pool members are required to work a minimum of 4 shifts per month to stay active in the casual pool.ABOUT YOUYour daily tasks will vary based on shift and program needs- however in any given day, you might cook, clean, bathe, manage medications, take residents to appointments, interact with family members or providers, and design games and crafts. We specialize in meeting our residents where they are at. No lifting or transferring of residents is required, but some sites require direct care and bathing. If this sounds like you, please apply today!ABOUT THE ROLEWe’re looking for people to join our Casual Pool to help support our staff in the personal care home pod for of the mental health residential department. This position will require working rotating shifts, which might include weekends and holidays. We’ll guarantee at least 15 hours a week, often more hours are available based on your availability! Our three personal care homes are located in the Wilkinsburg, West Mifflin and Munhall areas. Casual pool staff are required to complete a minimum of 4 shifts per month to stay active, and you always know your schedule in advance!Casual Pool staff provide coverage and residential support to our personal care programs. Casual Pool provide assistance and training to adults with Intellectual Disabilities/Serious Mental Illness in a Personal Care Home setting.
