Skills and Experience requirement
Functional and technical understanding of payment architecture of IBM - IPC, core payment processing solutions and underlying payment business processes. Experience any other industry led platforms would be a bonus.
Understanding of the basic payment hub architecture, the surround systems for payment hubs in a typical payment hub architecture and specifically IBM - IPC
Hand on experience in business rule configuration, profiles set up and other static data set up based on bank's business requirement
Understanding of underlying payment flows and business processes covering FedAch, Fedwire, CHIPS, SWIFT, Outward / Inward Remittances and experience in writing functional requirements for integration of these services with banks systems
Well versed with payment messaging formats. Experience in ISO20022, SWIFT MT are must have.
Understanding of Real time payments is a must with exposure to Zelle, US RTPS payments schemes would be a huge plus.
Should understand the workflow for bulk payments (mass pay) and single payments (high value and real time)
Should have a know-how of defect triaging for identifying the root cause of issue
Must have worked in at least 1 IBM - IPC implementation anywhere in the globe.
Roles & Responsibilities
Eliciting functional and integration requirements from bank's business and IT stakeholders
Work with Bank SMEs to create business requirement documents (BRD) , Integration requirement documents (IRD)
Work with product SMEs to perform Gap analysis and create Function requirement and solution documents
Work with IBM product architect to create Interface specification documents (ISD)
Guide and support the banks business teams in executing test cases for various payments scenarios
Support the bank's team with defect triage and identifying the root cause as either configuration or code defect.
