Fullstack Developer / Java

Job Description A Fortune 500 energy and electric utility company is hiring a Fullstack Java Developer to join their team for a long-term contract position. This company is based in Allentown, but all employees are fully remote. Their mission is to provide safe, reliable service to their customers which is enabled through a team of dedicated, innovative, and highly skilled individuals. This role is part of their newer product groups focusing on backend Java development, as well as JavaScript (React) on the frontend. This is a great role if you're interested in getting more experience with the cloud and DevOps. You will be on a team that uses Azure DevOps heavily. • Strong experience in Java
• Experience building Rest APIs
• Experience in HTML / CSS
• Experience in JavaScript (React)
• Experience in Git or SVN
• Experience in Test Driven Development (TDD)

• Bachelor's of Science in Computer Science or related field
• Experience with Azure or Azure DevOps

• 50% Front End
• 50% Back End

• 80% Development
• 20% Design

• Competitive Pay: Up to 52$/hour, DOE
• Contract Duration: 12 Months
