1. You have mechanical related experience in your personal life or work history.
2. You have a Drivers License and it is clean of violations (4 points or less currently)
3. You have never been charged with a DUI/DWI
4. You have not been convicted of a felony or have criminal history.
5. You will allow us to do a background check and DMV abstract search.
6. You have not had more than 2 jobs in the last 5 years.
7. You have stayed at a job for longer than 3 years.
8. You can pass a drug test.
9. You are available 24/7 for emergency service work
10. You understand this position is paid $20/hr along with occasional Prevailing Wage rates of $50+/hr. This combination will result in annual income between $55k-$70k per year.
11. You have not been responsible for a work related safety violation.
12. You must not be fearful of heights, dislike dirty work environments or unpleasant smells.

Company and Job Description:
Municipal Maintenance Co. is a family-owned and run service company in the municipal water and sewer market. The work is in repairing and servicing water and wastewater equipment in municipal and commercial settings.
This is a position to train on the job under one of our senior mechanics.
This position requires experience in a mechanical or trade-related field. The individual must be mechanically inclined.

Typical tasks include:
1. General labor
2. Cleaning of tanks and equipment in confined spaces
3. Mechanical work in the installation of equipment
4. Service of pumps and equipment
When work is not available in the field you must be willing to perform the following work:
1. Shop clean up/facility maintenance
2. Forklift work
3. Pressure washing and painting
4. Abrasive blasting
5. Vehicle maintenance
