Independent Building Maintenance Contractor/Handyman Paid Cash Weekly

Currently looking to fill a position for an Independent Building Maintenance Contractor or Experienced Handyman. A large private real estate investor/landlord with properties throughout Philadelphia would like to add an additional Assistant Handyman to make repairs and to help remodel houses and apartment units. Candidates must be experienced in construction and/or remodeling. Specifically, we need someone who can handle carpentry, painting, minor electrical, plumbing, heating repairs, and general tasks associated with home rehab and maintenance. You should have your own hand tools and transportation is a must, preferably a truck or van. We are looking for someone who is self motivated and able to work independently as well as with a team. Good time management is required. You must have the focus and organizational skills to follow a Punch List and get repairs finished in time and to completion for PHA (Section 8) reinspection's and retail tenants. A working cellphone is required. Personal experience in these trades a plus: Carpentry, Electrical, Plumbing and Heating, Roofing HVAC, Demolition, Remodels and Renovations is preferred. You should have the ability to communicate well with tenants, other workers and issue reports to the owner of daily progress. A professional appearance and attitude is a must. This a full time position, paid every Friday in cash. Salary is flexible based on experience and ability. This is a 1099 type job. Please, no calls after 7PM.

General Requirements:

Current and valid driver’s license

Have transportation with insurance

Must be professional with a professional attitude.
