Job Title: Arborist / Professional Tree Climber

We are seeking a dedicated and safety-oriented Arborist / Tree Climber to join our production team. This role is designed for a professional who takes pride in high-quality arboricultural work, from precision pruning to complex removals. The successful candidate will play a vital role in maintaining the health and safety of our clients' landscapes while utilizing advanced rigging techniques and modern equipment.

Responsibilities:

Technical Tree Care: Execute climbing, pruning, and removal operations in accordance with industry safety standards.

Rigging & Removal: Utilize advanced rigging techniques for controlled dismantling of trees in confined or complex environments.

Aerial Operations: Expertly operate bucket trucks and other specialized aerial lifts to ensure maximum efficiency and safety.

Diagnostic Assessment: Utilize GIS tools and other technology for precise tree mapping and health assessments.

Site Management: Oversee landscape maintenance and land clearing tasks, ensuring meticulous debris disposal and site restoration.

Safety Leadership: Adhere strictly to all OSHA and industry safety protocols, ensuring proper use of PPE and equipment at all times.

Documentation: Maintain accurate digital records of site work and equipment maintenance.

Skills:

Arboricultural Experience: Proven track record in tree climbing, pruning, and technical removals.

Equipment Proficiency: Demonstrated experience operating bucket trucks, wood chippers, and rigging gear.

Horticultural Knowledge: Strong understanding of plant health care, tree biology, and regional species.

Physical Capability: Ability to perform rigorous outdoor work at heights and in varying weather conditions.

Compliance: A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is required; a CDL is a significant advantage.

Soft Skills: A commitment to professionalism, environmental stewardship, and clear communication with team members and clients.

Work Environment:

Location: In-person, reporting to our Glenside, PA facility.
