Dentist - Expert Witness

This is a Dental Expert consultancy position where you, a licensed and practicing Dentist, review dental records and related information to provide a written Statement of Condition or fact, as to the issues or defect with the named Dentist's work that is under review, covering - condition, history, causation, and a prescribed treatment plan.

The fee structure is as follows:

Statement of Condition Report - This can be provided as a draft including the details and references to documents and related findings, and you can make adjustments, approximately 2-3 pages or you can draft your own - $700 (1-2 hours)

Statement of Condition Update Reports, as needed - $250

Deposition - Respond to questions related to the facts, finding, report, and supporting documentation. $1,750 (likely 2 – 2.5 hours, accommodative scheduling) plus $350p/hour beyond 3.5 hours.

Court Appearance – Same as the Deposition fee plus prep time.

Anticipate a minimum fee of $2500 with deposition, with court appearance $4500. Additional fees as required.

All fees are paid directly, as incurred, you would be responsible to self- report the fee income.

Dentist Requirements

Licensing: Currently licensed and practicing Dentistry in Pennsylvania, Delaware, or New Jersey; license in good standing. Prosthodontist a plus.

Local to the Delaware County, Philadelphia area a plus.

Well-spoken and fluent in English, able to explain and articulate conditions including occlusion.

Ability to explain the written reports, supporting documents, and the treatment plan.

Ability to explain issues with the dental procedures under review.
