Shipping Assistant

Metropolitan Bakery is seeking a part time , detailed oriented Shipping Assistant for the holiday season. Candidate will handle product fulfillment and shipping of online orders from internet store at the fast-paced center of operations located in the Fishtown neighborhood of Philadelphia.

Main responsibilities of position would be:

Assisting in packing of holiday shipments and maintenance of shipping supply inventory

Qualifications:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required

Excellent organization skills, ability to prioritize and comfortable working independently

Exceptional oral and written communication skills and math aptitude

Strong attention to detail

Position requires candidate be able to lift 20 pounds and be on your feet during a large part of the shift.

Position consist of three shifts per week, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, 8:30am to 3:00pm

Job Types: Part-time, Temporary

Pay: $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 19 – 24 per week

Schedule: Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday, 8:30am tp 3:00pm
