Line Cook- SPIN PHILADELPHIA/ Now Hiring

SPIN combines design, nightlife, sports, cocktail and entertainment with ping-pong courts and an elevated food & beverage experience with private and corporate events.We are seeking experienced Cooks to join our team. Ideal candidates must have previous line, fine dining, catering or hospitality experience as well as good communication skills; must be able to perform all basic and intermediate cooking skills, ability to perform in a fast-paced, high volume environment.

Essential Functions

- Set up and stock stations with necessary supplies.

- Prepare food for service.

- Cook menu items in cooperation with kitchen staff.

- Answer, report and follow Chef’s instructions.

- Clean up station and take care of leftover food.

- Stock inventory.

Requirements

Proven cooking skills and experience or culinary school background required.

Excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures.

Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks and following the instructions.

Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively.

Be able to reach, bend, stoop, lift and work in a standing position for long periods of time.

Must be flexible with work schedules.
