Description Robert Half is partnering with a prestigious company who are offering a permanent employment opportunity for a Medical Billing Specialist in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. As a Medical Billing Specialist, the role is within the detail-oriented Services industry, where you will play a crucial part in the processing and reconciliation of billing, ensuring compliance with government contracts. How you will make an impact: Oversee the billing process and conduct reconciliations to ensure compliance with government contracts. Establish and maintain contracts with national providers. Coordinate specialty exam visits for applicants. Review medical records in line with government contract standards. Document examination errors and generate Incomplete Letters. Serve as a liaison between the team, applicants, provider office, and government contract officials. Handle escalations from provider offices regarding visits. Respond to phone calls for the team. Perform other duties as assigned. Utilize various skills including Allscripts, Cerner Technologies, Dynamic Data Exchange (DDE), EHR SYSTEM, Epaces, Accounts Receivable (AR), Appeals, Benefit Functions, Billing Functions, Claim Administration, Federal Government Contracts.Requirements Other requirements for the Medical Billing Specialist position include and are not limited to: Minimum of two years' experience in the medical billing field Proficient in Allscripts and Cerner Technologies Familiarity with Dynamic Data Exchange (DDE) is required Experience with EHR SYSTEM is essential Must have worked with Epaces before Strong understanding of Accounts Receivable (AR) Knowledge of appeals procedures in the medical field Ability to handle benefit functions efficiently Experience in billing functions is important Must have expertise in claim administration Familiarity with federal government contracts is necessaryPlease contact Matthew Burns at 215.568.4580 about this opportunity and reference Job #03720-0013122469Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
