Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, 19113 Philadelphia USADescription We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Customer Service Representative based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. As a Customer Service Representative, the role primarily exists within the education industry, specifically at a university level. The successful Customer Service Representative candidate will be responsible for student support, case management, and connection to critical services. This role will be based in a dynamic, fast-paced environment where you will interact with students and other organizations to ensure comprehensive support.Responsibilities: Handle confidential student information with discretion and maintain accurate student records. Collaborate with other organizations to connect students with critical services such as counseling, financial assistance, and housing. Advocate for students and build strong rapport with them, guiding them through available resources on both college and city levels. Utilize your exceptional interpersonal skills to assess student needs and resolve their inquiries. Manage multiple cases simultaneously, demonstrating high organizational skills. Monitor student accounts and take appropriate action when necessary. Process student applications accurately and efficiently. Utilize Microsoft suite, especially Microsoft Excel, for data entry and order entry. Manage both inbound and outbound calls, providing excellent customer service and scheduling appointments as needed.Requirements At least one year of experience in a similar role within the education sector, preferably at a university level Proficient in answering inbound and outbound calls, demonstrating excellent telephone etiquette Experience in a call center or customer service environment Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle inquiries and complaints in a timely manner Proficient in data entry with high attention to detail and accuracy Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word, with the ability to create and manage spreadsheets and documents Experience in order entry, ensuring all orders are accurately recorded and processed Ability to schedule appointments efficiently, managing multiple schedules simultaneously Must possess strong organizational and time management skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.Please contact Hayley Master at 215.568.4580 about this amazing opportunity and reference Job #03720-0013059632Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
