Desktop Support Analyst

Description Robert Half might have the Desktop Support Technician role for you, if you have a flair for clearly breaking down and explaining convoluted technical information in a way that is easily understood by non-technical users. This Desktop Support Analyst role is long-term contract / temporary to hire in nature and is based in the Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, area.100% ONSITE Key responsibilities:

Preventive maintenance on medical equipment (i.e. infusion pumps, feeding pumps, EKG machines, anesthesia machines, ventilators, exam tables, patient vital sign monitoring equipment, etc.).

Correctly and efficiently applies basic technical skills following Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) or Alternative Equipment Maintenance (AEM) recommendations.

Develop records of daily data communication transactions, issues and remedial actions taken or installation activities

Rectify computer problems, and suggest appropriate action/solutions

Provide computer desktop support in accordance with established policies and procedures

Be in contact regularly and effectively with ticket submitters

Preserve, inspect, and mend computer systems, hardware, printers, and computer peripherals

Offer your support on a variety of computer hardware and software issues by identifying, researching, and resolving technical problems

hardware repairs with the appropriate vendors

Requirements

100% ONSITE

H.S. Diploma/GED and 1+ years of experience troubleshooting and maintaining electromechanical systems OR current enrollment in/completion of a Clinical Engineering/BMET program with internship OR completion of a specialized OEM training course with 1+ years of field experience.

AAMI certification preferred

Adeptness in Hardware Components

Solid understanding of Basic Troubleshooting

General familiarity with Hardware Installation

Demonstrated knowledge of Hardware configuration

Hardware Troubleshooting experience

Computer Hardware experience

Hardware and Software experience highly desired

Foundational knowledge in Desktop Hardware

Knowledgeable when it comes to writing reports, business correspondence, user instructions, and procedure manuals

Desktop support or related experience
