Together, we can transform healthcare and enable smarter care for millions of people.Support a Team of Revenue AccountingJob Summary:We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Manager of Revenue Accounting to lead our revenue accounting team. This role is critical in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial reporting, particularly focusing on deferred revenue, unbilled revenue, contract assets, bad debt reserves, and accounts receivable reserves. The successful candidate will bring extensive knowledge of ASC 606 and CECL standards, manage and develop team members, collaborate with various internal departments, and provide essential support for external audits. This position requires a proactive leader who can drive process improvements and maintain high standards of financial compliance and reporting.What you will contribute:
Balance Sheet Focus: Oversee reconciliations and workflow processes for deferred revenue, unbilled revenue, contract assets, bad debt reserves, and accounts receivable reserves, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
ASC 606 and CECL Expertise: Utilize thorough understanding of ASC 606 revenue recognition and CECL standards to manage and report revenue accounting.
Team Management: Lead and develop a direct report and manage the workflow of additional revenue resources, fostering a high-performing team environment.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with controllership, treasury, legal, and business units to optimize processes and support strategic financial decisions.
Month-End Close: Key contributor to the month-end close process, including preparing and reviewing internal financial statements to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
Process Improvement: Identify and implement changes to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of accounting operations.
External Audit Support: Act as the primary point of contact for external auditors, providing necessary documentation and addressing inquiries to ensure a smooth audit process.
The ideal candidate will have:
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent Technical / Business experience Required
8+ years relevant work experience; 2-3 years at the Expert level or equivalent experience Preferred
2-4 years relevant leadership experience preferred
CPA preferred
