Content Management System (CMS) ManagerPosition DescriptionJob SummaryReporting to the Sr. Manager of Digital Products, the Content Management System (CMS) Manager plays a dual role as an expert content manager and an exceptional people leader. The role will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our website CMS, ensuring they are secure, optimized, and delivering a seamless user experience. The CMS manager will work closely with internal teams like content creators, developers, product owners and marketers to ensure the CMS supports their needs and helps them achieve their goals.The CMS Manager oversees all aspects of our company's website content management systems (CMS), ensuring smooth operation, security, and optimization. This position is responsible for implementing and maintaining best practices for CMS, user management, plugin recommendations, and performance monitoring.Required Qualifications

Collaborate with developers on CMS-related projects, plugins, and integrations.

Deploy content updates daily, including selecting components and images to develop new pages.

Ensure brand standards and a standard voice/writing style is executed consistently.

Collaborate with the marketing team to implement SEO best practices and implement campaign content and web forms.

Analyze website performance data and identify areas for improvement.

Recommend and implement changes to the CMS configuration and functionality to optimize performance and user experience.

Proactively identify and address potential issues before they impact the website.

Lead a high-performing team of content creators, editors, and other CMS users.

Develop a streamlined intake, prioritization and communication process to manage projects and stakeholder expectations.

Train and support content creators on using the CMS effectively.

Ensure content adheres to company style guidelines and branding standards.

Manage user accounts and roles within the CMS.

Monitor system performance and troubleshoot any issues.

Embody a commitment to service, meeting, maintaining, and exceeding the service-level agreement (SLA) between Corporate Marketing, BU, and SBD business clients.

Utilize tools and platforms to maintain regular communication on progress, timelines, and deliverables to ensure stakeholder satisfaction throughout the planning and execution of projects and deliverables.

Develop priorities and goals for each member of your team, ensuring goals cascade to all team members. This will be done under the direction of the Senior Manager, Digital Products and through a collaborative and interactive planning process.

Manage staffing needs and identify areas for organizational development updates.

Guide the professional development needs, processes, and outcomes within your team, aligning with Saint-Gobain’s Values and attitudes.

Manage, encourage, and grow staff through frequent feedback and coaching. Motivate team to achieve optimum results.

Participate in the preparation and management of overall department’s budget as well as manage and maximize contracted services from external vendors.

Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, within the Corporate Marketing team and across the CertainTeed and Saint-Gobain businesses.

Additional DescriptionThe CMS Manager should be an experienced professional with demonstrable creative skills and the ability to perform well under deadlines while remaining detail-oriented. An ability to oversee all marketing content initiatives to ensure customer engagement, brand consistency, a positive customer experience while being a fair, consistent leader is of utmost importance.

Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, web development, or a related field preferred.

Minimum 3 years of experience managing a CMS.

Minimum of 2 years leading and mentoring direct reports.

Strong understanding of website development principles and technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).

Agile ceremony experience and proficient with Jira, Confluence, Figma and Miro.

Experience with popular CMS platforms like Drupal.

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and manage project timelines, budgets, and resources.

Detail-oriented with a high standard for quality.

Ability to travel up to 20%.
