Property Accountant

Description Robert Half is currently working with a client seeking a Property Accountant. The Property Accountant should have strong proficiency in Microsoft Office programs and property-specific systems, as well as experience in accounting and property management. Sustain fixed-asset ledger, depreciation and reconciliation

Create complex account reconciliations and journal entries

Analyze and coordinating a variety of financial data and reporting it in a clear, useful manner

Assist in the implementation, maintenance and adherence to internal controls

Manage capital lease and monthly payment schedules

Prepare monthly balance sheet and income statement analyses for management reporting

Assemble monthly, quarterly and year end financial statements/reporting packages Requirements - Bachelors degree in accounting, finance or a related field is required

Previous experience in accounting, real estate accounting, or property accounting preferred

Knowledge of industry specific accounting software

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

Multi-Entity or Multi-Location Accounting preferred

Command of Microsoft Office with strong Excel skills
