THE POSITION

Apply today to make your career goals a reality!DESCRIPTION OF WORKIn this position, you will help create plans for juvenile justice and violence prevention systems, develop policies and programs, and undertake related tasks associated with state and federal initiatives aimed at preventing, reducing, and managing delinquency. Your efforts will help establish a coordinated, effective, and equitable juvenile justice system. Additionally, you will participate in monitoring grant-funded projects to ensure compliance with approved agreements and assist in developing scoring criteria for grant applications that award state and federal funds. Your responsibilities will include analyzing, evaluating, reviewing, and monitoring grants related to juvenile justice and violence prevention agencies. You will also stay updated on current information, technological advancements, and relevant research pertinent to your duties.Interested in learning more? Full-time employment
Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, with the requirement to report to the office in Harrisburg once a month and as needed. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg.
Salary:In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITYQUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
Successful completion of the commonwealth's Criminal Justice System Specialist Trainee program; or
One year of professional experience in criminal or juvenile justice, law enforcement, or victim services, and a bachelor's degree in the social or behavioral sciences, criminal justice, law enforcement, or a related field; or
An equivalent combination of experience and training.Other Requirements:
