THE POSITION

This is an exciting opportunity to provide administrative support for the Division of School Facilities for the Supporting America's Schools Infrastructure Grant Program (SASI). Take pride in the work you do and apply today!DESCRIPTION OF WORKAs an Administrative Assistant 1, you will be responsible for collaborating with information technology (IT) to ensure that database parameters are established in accordance with agency and legislative requirements for the SASI grant to ensure a measured implementation of the grant. You will also provide technical assistance to high-need local education agencies (LEAs) with entering and accessing required information into the database or any other shared format.

Diligent organizational skills are utilized to input, track, and manage data for the maintenance program data collection IT system and make recommendations on system improvements to IT. Within this role, you will facilitate and maintain ongoing needs assessment with districts and LEAs participating in the SASI Grant Program to collect feedback on program execution and trainings provided. You will also compile information and present recommendations based upon feedback in conjunction with the facilities advisor.Interested in learning more? Full-time employment

Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 60-minute lunch.

Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, and report to the office every Wednesday. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg.

Salary:In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITYQUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

Such training as may have been gained through graduation from a four year college or university; or

Any equivalent combination of experience and training.

Applicants will be considered to have met the educational requirements once they are within 3 months of graduating with a qualifying degree.Other Requirements:
