THE POSITION

The Bureau of Enforcement and Investigation (BEI) is seeking reliable and diligent candidates to join our team of Professional Conduct Investigators. BEI conducts thorough exploration into allegations of violations of standards of conduct, laws, rules, and regulations for 29 licensing boards and commissions. Take this opportunity to make a positive difference within your community, apply today!DESCRIPTION OF WORKAs a Professional Conduct Investigator 1, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and conducting investigations pertaining to allegations of policy violations within the professional and occupational licensing boards and commissions under the Bureau of Professional and Occupational Affairs. You will work closely with supervisors and prosecuting attorneys to ensure all necessary and factual information is obtained. Excellent communication skills are imperative, as you may need to provide testimony during court proceedings in addition to facilitating in-person interviews and compiling thorough, accurate, and timely reports. Full-time employment
Work hours are 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 60-minute lunch.
Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, at the discretion of the program area and supervisors, based on operational needs. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg.
Salary:In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITYQUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
Two years as a Regulatory Enforcement Inspector; or
Five years of investigative experience; or
One year of investigative experience and a bachelor's degree; or
Any equivalent combination of experience and training that included one year of investigative experience.Other Requirements:
This particular position also requires possession of a valid Class C Driver's License.
