The Ford enterprise for managing a Profitable, Essential, and Intricate Parts & Service business.As a Software Engineer, you will be part of a team responsible for the product roadmap for NA Service Parts Planning within FCSD Tech. Engage with a balanced product team to achieve OKR outcomes and fulfill committed deliverables. Responsible for Planning, prioritizing, monitoring, managing all development tasks, ensure that SLAs and compliance are met for the Product.
Develop technical specifications for SAP RICEF objects to meet complex requirements.
Develop code for the application modules conforming to the functional and technical specifications, demonstrate problem-solving techniques to resolve issues and improve performance.
Perform peer code and documentation reviews to ensure coding standards are met, mentor other team members.
Develop test cases, plan, and execute all levels of testing, and assist functional and business team with testing.
Demonstrate clear understanding of application security standards.
Write user stories and story acceptance criteria, working closely with the Technical Anchor and other ABAP developers to ensure stories are refined and available for iteration planning.
Responsible for demonstrating completed features, ensure acceptance criteria are met to deliver valuable, working, tested, quality software iteratively.
Collaborate directly and continuously with product team and product owners, to prioritize deliverables geared towards a business and user value driven approach with continuous improvement and innovative mindset.
Engage in and drive agile practices and behaviors within the product team.
Demonstrate good skills in presentation, facilitation, communication, and negotiation.
Bachelor’s degree in relevant field.
Proven professional experience of 10+ years in a hands-on technical role engaged in developing, implementing, and supporting SAP applications.
Strong Technical skills – ABAP development, XI/PI development, SAP development tools.
Work experience in Agile Methodology, Software Craftsmanship, Agile project handling tools like Rally or Jira
Previous ABAP development experience in SAP SPP, SAP-ECC 6.0, and SAP XI/PI.
Experience in development of RICEF objects, Data Interfaces, SQL Trace, SAP Run time analysis, Debugging.
Ability to work individually and together with the Product team.
Ability to work collaboratively across Product teams to accomplish a shared objective.
Proven ability to work closely with leadership.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to adapt your communication style to the audience and teach others.
