Provides business intelligence and strategic planning support for business segments or the company at large. The Senior Strategy Advancement Professional work assignments involve moderately complex to complex issues where the analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.The Senior Strategy Advancement Professional leads initiatives to analyze complex business problems and issues using data from internal and external sources. Brings expertise or identifies subject matter experts in support of multi-functional efforts to identify, interpret, and produce recommendations and plans based on company and external data analysis. Ensures that policies and procedures align with corporate vision. Begins to influence department's strategy and responsible PowerPoint slide creation and storytelling for senior and executive leadership audiences. Makes decisions on moderately complex to complex issues regarding technical approach for project components, and work is performed without direction. The MarketPoint strategy team was created to help transform Humana's customer acquisition approach. The team functions with a mandate to think creatively, discover new opportunities and re-envision operations to drive growth and deliver a first-class experience to our members and agents.As part of the Strategy Advancement team, this role will provide strategic and tactical support to MarketPoint leaders to shape the priorities and agenda for the MarketPoint organization. The successful candidate will be someone who has worked in strategy/operations at a top-tier consulting firm or in a large health care corporation. They will have a demonstrated ability to synthesize large amounts of information into clear and concise outputs (PPT, Word, Excel). This person must be comfortable with ambiguity and able to work collaboratively with senior leaders. This person also will be effective at multitasking and possess keen program and change management skills to balance an evolving set of priorities and deadlines. This person will manage tracking and reporting against key MarketPoint strategies and initiatives to promote visibility, transparency, and accountability in program performance and drive value deliveryResponsibilities
Support creation of the MarketPoint strategy and future state and convert strategy into initiatives while ensuring consensus and execution. Inspire others to embrace and advance the strategy as it evolves and is realized
Lead and support creation of executive-level PowerPoints and presentations, telling MarketPoint's strategy story
Support delivery of a wide range of short-term and long-term strategic and transformational initiatives
Deconstruct, analyze, and document organizational problems or opportunities, create strategies/action plans to address, and drive follow-ups to promote successful execution
Support high-profile, high-impact strategy initiatives from developing an approach to delivering recommendations and final deliverables Develop high-quality analysis and deliverables that clearly frame organizational objectives, issues/challenges, and articulate compelling, insightful findings, conclusions, and recommendations
Conduct interviews, working sessions, and report-outs with leaders across the company. Document key ideas and actions during sessions to drive follow-up actions
Support MarketPoint leadership in communicating value and impact of MarketPoint initiatives to broader Humana organization
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in business, management or related field
3+ experience leading cross-functional teams and driving transformational, strategic initiatives
Ability to communicate effectively, influence stakeholders, and drive results
Strong experience with PowerPoint content creation and slide development
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with experience creating and delivering executive level presentations
Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills to influence, facilitate and enhance performance within a cross-functional environment, effective at leading diverse personalities and all levels of leadership
Self-motivated and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment
Excellent time management, organizational and prioritization skills; strong attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications
Healthcare experience in a strategy role
Experience in top tier management consulting
Master's Degree or higher
Additional InformationScheduled Weekly Hours40Pay RangeThe compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.$84,600 - $116,300 per yearThis job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan.
