We are seeking a skilled and reliable Appliance Installation Subcontractor to join our team. The subcontractor will be responsible for installing a variety of household appliances. This role requires technical expertise, attention to detail, and a professional demeanor when working with clients. The position is contract-based and offers flexible work schedules with opportunities for consistent projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Installation: Install a variety of household and appliances, including dishwashers, wall ovens, cooktops, over the range microwaves, range hoods and more, according to manufacturer guidelines and project specifications.
Measurement and Preparation: Take accurate measurements, prepare work areas, and ensure appliances are installed safely and securely.
Material Handling: Safely transport appliances, tools, and equipment to job sites.
Clean Job Site: Maintain a clean and organized work environment before, during, and after installations.
Professionalism: Interact professionally with clients, addressing their questions or concerns and providing excellent customer service.
Safety Compliance: Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure safe handling and installation of appliances.
Communication: Coordinate with project managers, clients, and others to ensure clear communication and timely completion of projects.
Problem-Solving: Troubleshoot any installation challenges or issues and provide effective solutions.
Documentation: Maintain records of completed projects, upload photos and notes to all jobs.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in appliance installation.
Proficiency with tools and equipment required for appliance installation.
Understanding of electrical, plumbing, and ventilation systems related to appliance installation.
Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Physical ability to lift and maneuver heavy appliances and work in various environments.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
General liability insurance, $1,000,000 umbrella policy, auto insurance, and workers' compensation coverage is required for all sub-contractors.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with high-end or custom appliance installations.
Certification in appliance repair or related fields.
Familiarity with energy-efficient or smart appliance systems.
Compensation:
Pays per job, with annual earnings ranging from $50,000 to $75,000+ based on performance and workload.
Compensation is project-based.
