Dental Hygienist Duties
Perform dental hygiene services, mouth screenings and check oral health history, dental prophylaxis remove plague, scaling and root planning
Identify conditions such as gingivitis, dental caries and periodontal disease
Educate patients of all ages on oral hygiene and good brushing techniques
Maintain patient documents and charts
Take x-rays and assist dentist with appreciate treatments for various disease including oral cancer
Follow HIPPA and OSHA guidelines
Qualifications for Dental Hygienist
Graduate of an accredited school of dental hygiene
Registered Dental Hygienist license in state of practice
Current CPR certification
1 years of experience working in a dental practice
Excellent interpersonal and Computer Skills
