IT Operations Engineer

IT Operations Engineer (Akrion Technologies, Inc., Allentown, PA): Participate in implementation, transition, and provide support to a variety of IT projects; Administer IT asset management; Recommend systems upgrades, enhancements, and replacements; Manage IT projects, including new, existing and improvements, including SAP ERP system IT support, servers, and network and data storage equipment; Work with parent company's IT department to connect information technology projects, landing and implementing work, and communicating project progress in a timely manner; Ensure security of data, network access and backup systems; Identify problematic areas and recommend technical solutions; Act as primary liaison with outside system support services providers; and Provide comprehensive support to company's information technology and computer systems, including communications system administration, LAN and server administration, ERP system, technical user support, network configuration, user training, as well as overall system security and backups. Must be available 24/7 on call for global business support.Requires a Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field and 3 years of experience working in Server center, and IT-related positions. Requires experience with: Extracting data using SQL; with computer networks, protocols, network administration, and network installation; with Microsoft 365, Windows PC Administrator and troubleshooting; Managing data centers and data governance; Managing IT assets, procurement, and coordination; Analyzing IT KPIs; Creating Business Requirements Documents (BRD) and Functional Design Documents (FDD); Using Agile developing Methodology; and With IT equipment and systems related to warehousing.Please email CV to hrdept@akriontech.com
