OverviewNow HiringDirector of OperationsFull-Time Position AvailableAs part of the Avamere Family of Companies, Exiges follows its mission to“enhance the life of every person we serve.”Exiges Portable Imaging is a diagnostic mobile imaging company providing quality portable x-ray, ultrasound, and electrocardiogram (EKG) services to patients in their home. These accurate and convenient diagnostic services benefit patients, families, patients, and other healthcare staff in homecare settings.A Director of Operations oversees Exiges’ daily business activities. Responsible for managing its resources, developing and implementing an operational plan and ensuring that procedures are carried out properly. Additionally, the Director of Operations regularly evaluates organizational efficiency and makes necessary changes to maximize staff productivity. A Director of Operations assesses the needs of the company and finds ways to contribute to the big picture by ensuring daily operations run smoothly and as efficiently as possible.Responsibilities/Qualifications/SkillsetResponsibilities:Helps to interpret and communicate policies/procedures and communicates relevant changes.

Develops and manages operating budgets and monitors cost variances. Identify and lead key department cost management initiatives to achieve results.

Develop strong understanding in the direction/monitoring of the revenue cycle for the department professional billing and reimbursement and associated technical centers within departments.

Manage operational areas and identify and drive improvement opportunities in key areas including, patient access, patient experience, service line cost management, quality management, employee engagement and other department functions that support the overall company performance.

Assists in implementing strategic initiatives within the company including growth strategies, new acquisitions, and services as key member on the sales and marketing team.

Abides by regulations that apply to State and National licenses.

Provides current documentation showing continuing medical education, certification, and license as required.

Other dutiesas assigned.

Build strong relationships with physicians and radiologist and support and resolve any issues.

Qualifications:Degree in Business or Health Administration desired

At least two years of supervisory responsibility

ARRT Certification a plus

Knowledge of medical terms

Proficiency with Microsoft suite, web-based marketing and social media platforms required

ARRT Certification preferred, but not essential
