Pitch Superintendent - Pfeifer Roofing, Inc. (1 position available)

The Pitch Superintendent manages the completion of assigned Pitch jobs while reviewing work orders for accuracy, defining all logistical needs, and fully understands the scope of work. The pitch superintendent will complete audits for quality and safety standards and train subordinates on corrective actions. This position will require you to forecast workloads and manage and track daily production goals. You will need to ensure every job and installation meets or exceeds our quality standards. Ensuring all clients receive the Pfeifer experience. Ordering materials or returning goods as needed and managing the work order cycle within our programs. You will be responsible for supervising foreman and holding teams accountable for company and division expectations.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

· Fast learner

· Clear and effective communication; verbal, nonverbal, written, and auditory

· Technologically sound using a computer, tablet, phone, and all company platforms

· Clean driving record insurable under Pfeifer Roofing's policy requirements & ability to navigate a trailer

· Strong Organizational Skills and ability to multi-task

· OSHA requirements

· Construction sequencing and progressions

· Basic math; addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and ability to read a measuring tape

· Lift 50-100 pounds without issue often

· Works well with heights

· Willingness to learn and become a professional in the realm of roofing and associated trades

· Ability to work both independently and as a team

· Gets it, wants it, and has capacity to do it

Education and Experience:

Essential

· Previous construction experience in a management/supervisor role

· Fluent in all English communication skills; verbal and visual

· Valid driver’s license

· Ability to use/learn Pfeifer business technologies

Preferred

· Previous superintendent experience

· Bilingual English/Spanish

· Forklift Certified

· First Aid & CPR Certified

· Manufacturer Roof Assembly Certified
