Position Overview
We are looking for a motivated and proactive carpenter/framer to join our Brothers Building team. In this role, you will work closely with our owners and team members to ensure the smooth execution of residential and commercial construction projects. Your responsibilities will include:
Learn and master our products and installation methods, ensuring top-quality workmanship.
Anticipate issues and communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth project execution.
Develop and maintain positive, productive relationships with subcontractors, team members, and clients to ensure high quality project outcomes.
Operate and maintain company tools and vehicles safely and responsibly to prevent accidents and ensure safe jobsites.
Comply with local building codes, health, and safety regulations.
Keep jobsites clean, safe, and organized, and protect project materials and tools.
Accurately complete all required documentation, ensuring thorough and precise project records.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required
Knowledge of local building codes, health, and safety regulations
Excellent customer service skills
Ability to stand for prolonged periods, climb, pull, and lift heavy objects
Ability to follow instructions and work within a team
Excellent communication skills
High attention to detail and organizational skills
Effective problem-solving ability
Self-motivated and ambitious
Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and maintain a positive attitude while providing excellent customer service
Previous carpentry/framing experience
Minimum Experience
Previous carpentry/framing experience is preferred
Job Details
Type: Full Time / Hourly / Non-Exempt
Pay: Starting at $28 per hour depending on experience. This position is eligible for overtime.
Schedule: Monday-Friday / 5-8 hour shifts or 4-10 hour shifts, depending on company needs
Must have a valid driver’s license and insurance.
