Multi Task Fabric and Sewing Job

Small growing fabric and quilting company is looking hire a multi-task person

to work about 10 - 15 hrs per week

Hours of the day and days of the week may be flexible.

Some of the many duties will include:

Measuring and cutting fabric,

packing and shipping

Sewing leads on quilt backs

Measuring and cutting batting

loading quilting machines

Trimming, folding and packing quilts

Eventually learning to run longarm quilting machines

Cleaning including vacuuming, dusting, and cleaning machines

And a little bit of everything else.

Skills we are looking for:

Must be good at multi-tasking

Good at spotting defects

Able to be a self starter.

Good at organizing and setting priority of work to be done

Dependable

Able to solve puzzles

Attention to detail

Must be willing to learn new skills

Sewing and/or working with fabric experience a plus.

Compensation starting: $18.00 per hour

Long term will work into more hours as the business grows
