Industrial Sewing Machine Operator

Local established company has an opening for Sewing Machine Operator. We are willing to train in some areas if the individual is the right fit for the team.

Job Requirements:

Accomplished sewing and cutting skills

Experience with double needle, single needle, surger and walking foot machines

Ability to interpret patterns and measurements

Must be able to lift a minimum of 35 lbs. in accordance with safety training

Repetitive use of hands and arms

Ability to bend, stoop, and stand for extended periods of time

Clear communication skills

Basic math and measurement skills

Fabricating parts from drawings, patterns and free hand fitting

Making new patterns

Cutting and sewing of various fabrics including vinyl and canvas

Ability to measure, assemble and sew raw fabric pieces into a finished product

Qualities Desired:

Dependable

Willing to learn

Ability to take direction and understand verbal English instruction

Attention to detail a must

Self starter with the ability to problem solve
