Oregon, Portland, 97201 Portland USAJob Requisition ID #24WD81860Position OverviewAutodesk is a leading global technology company that creates software products and services for the architecture, engineering, construction, manufacturing, automotive, media and entertainment industries.As we expand our Enterprise Customer Success operations in AMER, we are seeking a talented Sr Business Consultant to join our Americas AEC Consulting team.As a Business Consultant, you will work closely with our clients to develop their digital strategies, define criteria for success, assess current process and project performance, create business value justification for initiatives, and prepare to implement solutions that produce meaningful business results. The role requires a focus on:
Working with Autodesk's largest customers to define approaches to the application of BIM and emerging technologies to their Buildings projects
Working with Autodesk account teams to define a strategy (Customer Success Plan) for using Consulting Services and customer engagements to implement those strategies and solutions
Creating and maintaining high value client relationships based on your ability to solve their business challenges
Working with the Autodesk Consulting Project Management team to ensure delivery against the Customer Success Plan
Shaping the Autodesk Consulting service offering, with regard to Architecture, and how it is delivered
Working with specialists within Autodesk, and beyond, to support and shape the Autodesk product offering
Responsibilities
Be a trusted partner to customers and internal Autodesk teams
Help Autodesk customers guide transformational change by applying change management methodologies
Lead facilitated workshops with Autodesk customers to identify solution opportunities and guide understanding on solution paths
Lead or help create high-quality design, engineering, and operational management for customers
Define and track the value of solutions delivered to customers, and help document the impact of customer investment in Autodesk Consulting
Participate in the development around new and expanded offerings as part of a comprehensive consulting delivery portfolio
Build the Autodesk Consulting brand by demonstrating expertise within the industry, i.e. presenting at Autodesk University and other industry events, publishing articles and position papers on industry trends
Lead project delivery efforts, ensuring team members perform to quality
Advise on project estimation and participate in business development activities
This is a remote role
You will report to the Manager of Consulting services for Buildings and Infrastructure in the Americas
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor of Science, Bachelor of Engineering in Architecture, Construction, Engineering or related degree
Must have at least 5+ years of hands-on experience in Buildings - Architecture industry (understanding of Autodesk products highly preferred – Revit, Autodesk Construction Cloud), with a focus on the development, management and/or delivery of digital design, engineering, and management solutions across a business enterprise
Demonstrate an understanding of BIM for Sustainable buildings and reduction of carbon impact by delivering optimized designs with new and integrated BIM workflows using Autodesk solutions
An understanding and any experience with Autodesk Forma (not required but considered a plus)
Must have at least 3 years of experience working on business improvement initiatives that leverage the implementation of digital solutions
Demonstrate excellence in strategic thinking, innovation, program management, change management, business process optimization, and communications
Demonstrate ability to facilitate customer workshops leveraging a variety of techniques
Demonstrate initiative and ability to drive decisions and closure on issues
Proven ability to work with diverse technical, sales, and project management teams
Must have a solid working knowledge of software development lifecycle processes and how to operate under structured project management
Must possess excellent written and oral communication skills, including experience conducting workshops, facilitating meetings, and delivering effective presentations to teams and customers
Must be able to break down complex topics into a common language understandable by non-technical/business-oriented audiences
Ability to work independently to meet deadlines.
Willingness to travel up to 50% to Autodesk events and customer meetings

For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $83,000 and $143,220. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range.
