Real Estate Legal Assistant

Description A multi-office law firm in Portland is looking to add another Legal Assistant to support attorneys in their Real Estate group. This position involves a focus on transactional processes and procedures, particularly in the field of real estate law. The role is demanding and fast-paced, requiring strong secretarial and computer skills, high level of organization, and excellent attention to detail.Responsibilities Manage transactional processes and procedures, coordinating with title and escrow teams. Compile closing binders for large, complex projects. Perform word processing for a variety of legal documents such as Leases, Amendments, License agreements, etc. Proo, convert, format, and edit various legal documents including contracts, leases, and checklists. Process legal documents for distribution and electronic storage. Run conflicts checks and set up new clients and matters.
