Price Estimate Specialist

Description We are currently in the process of recruiting two fully remote Temporary Price Estimates Specialists for an open-ended term. The selected candidate will have a proven background in insurance verification, registration, and eligibility benefits analysis in a healthcare setting. Experience with EPIC software is not a requirement, however, it would be considered a huge bonus!Primary Responsibilities:

Provide accurate price estimates for patient services and communicate those estimates to patients before the service is rendered.

Verify insurance coverage and benefits eligibility, ensuring all data is accurate and up-to-date.

Develop a thorough understanding of reimbursements, patient responsibility for each service, and all other financial aspects associated with patient care.

Assist in the patient registration process, ensuring all relevant information is collected and accurately recorded.

Utilize EPIC software for various tasks, if you have EPIC software experience.

Requirements

Key Qualifications:

Strong knowledge of insurance policies, procedures and eligibility benefits.

Ability to understand and explain the patient's financial responsibilities for various services.

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.

Exceptional communication and customer service skills.

Experience with the EPIC software is a huge bonus but not necessary.

Knowledge of standard concepts, practices, and procedures in a hospital environment.

High degree of accuracy and attention to detail, particularly in financial matters.
