The McCall House Boutique Hotel is a small, historic 10-room property located one block from downtown Ashland. We are seeking a reliable, long-term Assistant Innkeeper to support daily operations and serve as the primary on-site contact during scheduled shifts when ownership is not present.

This is a structured, guest-facing hospitality role for someone who values consistency, professionalism, and steady employment. Some days are quiet, some days are busy — this is hospitality.

Wednesday–Sunday

8:00 AM–5:00 PM

$20 per hour

On-site, non-live-in position

What This Role Is

Primary on-site contact during scheduled shifts

Guest-facing with calm, professional communication

Coordinating daily tasks and supporting team workflow

Following established systems and procedures

Addressing guest needs as they arise and communicating clearly

Position Requirements

Dependable, steady, and professional

Comfortable taking responsibility and making day-to-day decisions

Able to stay productive during both slow and busy shifts

Willing to assist with coverage when needed (within reason)

Core Responsibilities

Front desk operations

Guest check-ins and guest support

Overseeing breakfast and tea service execution

Maintaining cleanliness, staging, and house readiness

Monitoring supplies and reporting needs

Identifying maintenance issues

Providing daily updates to ownership

Visible tattoos must be covered while on duty
