Job DescriptionIntel Corporation, MSO-Global Sourcing for Equipment Materials (GSEM) organization Is looking for a Data Analytics/Operations intern , this internship will start mid-May, 2024.As a member of the team, you will be a full business partner making and influencing business decisions that optimize Intel's Supply Chain.The Supply Chain Intern Program includes practical training and educational events, networking/social opportunities, and exposure to senior leadership and the Supply Chain Community.The actual scope will depend on business need/project, but examples include:

Develop new processes and procedures to enhance operations, create new tools, systems or calculators, develop PowerBI reports and dashboards, etc.

Converting business requirements into actionable strategies and tactics as they relate to creating/managing new automated work flows

Partner to develop cost models and drive cost savings initiatives in support of the business strategy through analytics and engagement with customers across the supply chain

Conducting benchmarking or market analysis to develop recommendations based on industry best practices

Identifying and implementing improvements of processes, systems, and tools based a thorough understanding of the business processes and supply chain dependencies

Using data analytics and visualization tools to drive tactical and strategic decision processes.

Working with cross-organizational teams to solve problems and drive supply chain solutions via automation/AI

QualificationsYou must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Relevant experience can be obtained through schoolwork, classes and project work, internships, military training, and/or work experience.Minimum Qualifications:The candidate must be currently pursuing a Masters of Data Analytics, Finance, Supply Chain or related field of study.Candidate must have an automation mindset and must have 6+ months of educational or work experience with the following:

Business intelligence and data visualization tools (such as Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate, other low-code applications, tools, etc.)

Experience with managing datasets and performing data analysis

Basic Financial / Business Acumen

Willing to do a 3-month internship with potential to extend through fall/spring.Preferred Qualifications:

Supply chain knowledge is a plus

SharePoint

Agile methodologies and leverage and deploy AI tool
