Automotive Service Technician

Job Description:

The JCAC Service Technician’s basic function is to perform and complete repair and maintenance on customer vehicles. The Service Technician must ensure that all work is performed to the customer's (and JCAC’s) reasonable expectations in a successful and profitable manner. The basic functions of the Service Technician include, but are not limited to, the following:

Perform a full range of service and repairs on vehicles.

Verify vehicle performance by conducting test drives.

Determines a vehicle's condition by performing an inspection and diagnosis.

Ensures Customers’ repair order (RO) is completed correctly within the timeframe allotted for the work.

Qualifications:

­ A high school diploma or equivalent work experience

­ Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
