UHDS Facilities Worker

BlueSun Inc. is currently recruiting for three temporary full-time workers to join the Oregon State University Facilities Team in Corvallis, OR

The schedule for this position is Monday – Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm (in the summer months there may be an opportunity to adjust the schedule to an earlier schedule)

Wage 17.43

Duties:

Installing flooring (carpet, LVP, VCT tiles)

Drywall/Plaster (repair and/or install, mudding, taping)

General carpentry work (work on screen, windows, doors, repairing furniture)

Tile (install/repair)

Paint (apply, patch/repair, texture with machine)

Individuals should meet the following requirements:

General knowledge and use of power tools (sanders, drills, saws)

Ability to stand, walk, and work while bending down and stooping for extended periods

Ability to work in an environment containing dust, odor, high levels of noise

Ability to work on ladders, scaffolds, and other above ground locations such as on a roof

Must be able to pass a criminal background check and other pre-employment screening.
