Maintenance Technician

We have a permanent position for a Maintenance Technician. We are seeking a motivated and dependable individual to join our team!

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES FOR THIS POSITION:

Perform a wide variety of property maintenance

Repair and service electrical fixtures (light fixtures, outlets, smoke alarms, carbon monoxide detectors)

Inspect, repair and service minor plumbing and installations. (Sinks, toilets, garbage disposals, leaky pipes, etc)

Perform general drywall repair and painting

Repair fences and decks

Clean property grounds of trash and debris

Minor landscaping

Excellent communication skills with residents and property management

Maintain a professional and clean appearance and worksite

Complete all work orders in a timely manner

Other duties as assigned and which relate to the success of the company and satisfaction of both the residents and

property management

REQUIREMENTS:

Maintenance experience preferred

Must have own tools

Must be able to lift over 50 pounds

Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation and current car insurance

Must be able to follow directions and learn quickly

Must have a positive and helpful attitude with a team mentality, but also able to work well independently

Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills

Must pay attention to detail, be service oriented, and have an excellent work ethic

Must pass criminal background check and drug screening as allowable by law

Small applicance repair experience a plus, but not required.
