CABINET SHOP SAWYER - Sawyer/Assembler, Bend Cabinet & Fixtures, Inc.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Under the direction of the Cabinet Shop Lead, the Cabinet Shop Sawyer/Assembler will perform a variety of tasks including assisting with the fabrication, repair, replacement, and installation of a variety of furnishings, countertops, and cabinetry. The Cabinet Shop Sawyer/Assembler will also be responsible for assisting with milling along with an assortment of finish and trim work.

Experience preferred. We provide on the job training. This could be a fantastic opportunity for an apprenticeship for the right candidate.

Must be able to get to work on time, follow directions, take accurate measurements, follow all safety protocols, and complete tasks within established deadlines.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Frequent lifting from 5-50 lbs, unassisted (from 35-65% of the time)

Occasional lifting from 25 lbs +, assisted (up to 50% of the time)

Frequent operation of various types of tools and other shop machinery

Sustained periods of standing, sitting, walking, bending, and kneeling

Sustained periods of occupational noise exposure

This is a FULL-TIME position Monday through Thursday, 10-hour shifts, with the occasional need to work other days of the week as production demands require.
