EXPERIENCE LEVEL

Northwest Framing Systems is looking for a talented and passionate individual to join our team as a Asset & Safety Manager. Experience in a management level Safety Position or General Construction Experience is preferred, but not required.

ASSET MANAGEMENT RESPONSIBILITIES - (75%-80% OF THE POSITION)

-Communicate with Foreman to ensure they have the necessary tools, fuel, and equipment any given day

-Schedule maintenance and servicing for all company owned equipment

-Schedule rental equipment to be dropped off and picked up at various job sites as needed

-Deliver tools, materials, equipment to job sites all over Central Oregon

-Move tool trailers and connexes from various locations

-Clean and organize tool trailers and connexes during demobilization

-This position requires time spent in the office as well as in the field at various job sites in Central Oregon

-Oversee management of all company asset (tools, equipment, and materials)

-Maintain and organize shop and yard

-Maintain service logs for equipment

-Potentially perform small repairs on equipment when possible

-Monitors servicing and repairs for all company vehicles

SAFETY MANAGEMENT RESPONSIBILITIES - (20%-25% OF THE POSITION)

-Overseeing inventory of PPE and enforcing PPE to be worn in the field

-Conduct certified training classes (fall protection, forklift, aerial lift, rigging/ hand signal, first aid & CPR) in the classroom as well as field practical

-Conduct weekly random drug testing

-Enforce Northwest Framing Systems Safety Manual and OSHA guidelines

-Conduct Safety Job Walks regularly to identify potential hazards or safety violations

-Oversee dangerous Construction activities and use of Heavy Machinery

-Revise the company Safety Manual as needed

-Address any workplace related health incidents and accidents

-Stocking inventory of First Aid supplies at all job sites

-Stay up to date on new State and Federal Safety Regulations

-Annual Machinery and Safety Equipment inspections

SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS

-Valid Driver's License, Pass an initial drug screening, Pass a criminal history check

-Efficient Communication Skills (both verbal and written)

-Computer Skills (Excel, Microsoft Word, Google Drive)

-General Construction Knowledge and Terminology

-Knowledge of power tools, heavy equipment, building materials

-Can drive and maneuver truck with trailers (CDL Not Required)

-Attention to detail & Common Sense

-Enjoys Organizing & Cleaning

-Willing to learn a different way of doing things
