JOB TITLE: Maintenance Foreman
Hourly Step: Step 1 $20.00, Step 2 $21.00, Step 3 $22.00
Benefits: Vacation, Sick Time, 401K, and Medical & Dental (50% split)
The Maintenance Foreman is responsible for managing a landscape maintenance crew of 1-3 members, completing daily scheduled maintenance routes, and ensuring the safety, efficiency, and quality standards of all completed tasks.
JOB DUTIES:
Oversee daily landscape maintenance operations and delegate work to crew members.
Maintain a route schedule and meet service expectations.
Communicate with clients and supervisors to proactively problem solve and troubleshoot.
Thatch, aerate, mow, edge, and fertilize lawns with landscaping equipment.
Weed and mulch landscape beds.
Plant and maintain shrubs, flowers, and trees.
Familiar with industry standards for trimming small trees, hedges, and shrubs.
Operate snow blower for residential and commercial properties.
Inspect and perform daily maintenance on company equipment and vehicles, such as checking fluids, greasing equipment, checking safety equipment and lights as needed. Report damages or necessary repairs immediately to Yard Manager.
Safely operate a company truck and trailer to transport equipment and crew to job sites.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ensure the crew utilizes all required personal protective equipment.
Follow directions from supervisor.

Able to work independently or as part of a team.
Always demonstrate strong leadership and organizational skills.
Monitor all tools, equipment, and machinery for necessary maintenance.
Maintain a clean and safe job site.
Clean and professional appearance.
Punctual and dependable.
REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma or GED.
Experience as a crew leader in landscaping or groundskeeping is a plus.
Working knowledge of irrigation systems and troubleshooting, recommended but not required.
Knowledge of pest management and essential lawn maintenance is a plus.
Ability to speak Spanish is a plus.
Valid Oregon Driver’s License and clean driving record.
Able to pass drug test.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Works in outdoor environment and exposed to adverse weather conditions.
Must be able to work operation hours.
Able to lift 50 pounds.
Flexible availability during snow removal season.
Able to stand and move around for extended periods.
