MachinistPaying 25 / HR - 32 / HRLocation - Beaverton, ORHiring for CNC machinists on all shifts and at varying skill levels. We currently have needs for level 1 machinists that have completed a Machining Technology schooling program or have 2 years of recent/relevant experience in a machine shop.Responsibilities: Set up and operate CNC machinery including mills and lathes. Operates and performs sets up on a variety of customized secondary operation machines, drill presses, thread tapers, dimple presses, washing tanks, broaching presses and honing centers. Inspects articles to verify conformance to specifications applying basic understanding of GDT. Identifies damaged or inferior quality products. Independently performs maintenance activities to ensure proper operation.Qualifications: 2+ years similar machining/manufacturing experience, or an equivalent combination of experience required. Intermediate blueprint reading skills. Ability to read blueprints and measurement gauges to inspect for part conformity. Basic math skills. Ability to understand and apply geometric concepts and make basic adjustments or setting up basic tooling and holding fixtures. Good organizational skills and ability to read and communicate effectively.Environment/ Shift:

Very large machine shop where it can be noisy. Will need to wear applicable PPE such as glasses or ear plugs.

Day: 5am - 3:30pm.

Swing: 3:30pm - 2am.

Work Weeks are either Sunday - Wednesday or Wednesday - Saturday.

There are shift differentials for Sunday and Saturday.
