GDH Consulting is looking for an Accounting Associate III for one of our top banking partners in the Tulsa area. As an Accounting Associate you will be responsible for advanced accounting duties, such as preparing government and bank-required reports, and maintaining the general ledger by balancing, reconcilement and posting entries. The Accounting Associate III is expected to work well with others and maintain courteous and professional communications with coworkers and customers.

REQUIREMENTS

Accounting degree preferred as well as accounting experience with a bank.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

Demonstrates exceptional customer services skills and adheres to the EXCEED Customer Service Standards.

Prepares various reports and Power Point presentations for the Executive and Senior Management Committees. This is accomplished using a solid working knowledge of bank financial statements, bank ratios and financial/business software.

Prepares and/or reviews various miscellaneous reports, including required Regulatory Reports and does so in an accurate and timely manner.

Compiles, interprets and analyzes all data required to complete what is known as the Bank Profit Improvement Survey, utilized for the Bank CEO Network meetings. This may involve working with various departments in pulling together the necessary data.

May assist with and/or have involvement in the preparation of the annual financial statements and notes, as it relates to the external audit process.

Although the position reports directly to the Accounting Manager, there may be direct involvement with assisting the Bank CFO and Financial Reporting Manager.

Assists with the maintenance and recordkeeping, including required signature pages and authorizations, of all correspondent account relationships with the Bank.

Performs various accounting functions, such as General Ledger review, Accruals, and Qwickrate CDs. Prepares and maintains Minutes for various committee meetings as determined by management. Completes all job functions in accordance with federal and state regulation and within limits of authority and does so in an accurate and timely manner.
