Part-Time Production Team Member (Inserter)

Join The Norman Transcript production team as a part-time inserter.

You will operate and monitor equipment that automatically inserts advertising materials into our newspapers, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in a fast-paced environment.

We are seeking reliable and detail-oriented team members to work as mailroom inserters.

Responsibilities include:

Operate machinery that inserts pre-printed sections into newspapers and prepare the finished papers for delivery which includes physically handling and stacking bundles of newspapers, often weighing 10 to 50 pounds.

Monitoring machine performance and making minor adjustments.

Maintaining a clean and safe work area.

Meeting production deadlines.

Schedule: Various shifts including nights & weekends.

Requirements:

Must be 18 or older.

Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
