Location Details: RemoteThe person could work out any of the following: Torrance, CA; Marysville, OH; Lincoln, AL; or Greensburg, IN.

Tasks completed on a daily, weekly, monthly, or annual basis project assigned:
  • Collaborate with IT end users who received and deploy new hardware assets. Seeking to ensure all hardware assets are properly registered in the asset system, all changes in life cycle phases are updated on each asset record, and that proper disposal method are implemented and leveraged for all client Hardware assets.
  • Train IT Team members who are charged with ordering, receiving, and deploying IT hardware, so that they know the expectations of creating, and updating hardware asset records for their area of responsibility.
  • Managing and configuring Asset Scanners for all It teams who order, receive and deploy IT Hardware Assets.
  • Manage Service Now Hardware asset data, including building reports on Service Now hardware assets.
  • Monthly pull data to complete Monthly QCD reporting.
  • Tracking IT Hardware, and ensuring all IT user's know the policies, processes and tools provided to enable then to track all IT hardware assets.
  • They will be hands on with Zebra Scanners and CG4 Asset tracking/auditing Software as well as Service Now Hardware asset screens.
  • Setups new uses for the scanners and the CG4 application.
  • Once any new solutions for the scanner have been designed and tested by this individual they should be able to build the training materials and then train the end user's on how to use the new solution.

Knowledge, skills, abilities, traits, certifications, years of experience, to successfully perform job function:
  • Proficient in identifying/gathering asset system requirements to allow a new class of assets to be setup and tracked to drive accurate asset inventory, representing financial and compliance aspects of client hardware asset inventory within the North American region for 26 major locations.
  • Superior oral and written English communication skills to facilitate open collaboration and understanding with internal and external team members.
  • Ensuring proper tracking and reporting to help ensure hardware inventory accuracy for 13 NA client companies, 32,000 users, and 26 major office locations.
  • Oversight for tracking of hardware by model categories regional company location and IT division and department, to be used for BU level KPI reporting each month.
  • Deliver solid subject matter expert knowledge of the Hardware Asset management policies, processes and standards, and provide mentoring and training to the extended team members in the North American region to drive consistent adherence to policy, processes and standards towards a target of 100% Hardware inventory accuracy for all locations in North America.
  • 3-5 years or equivalent work experience managing IT Hardware Assets
  • Strong Information Technology Aptitude
  • CHAMP Certification
